Eyes to Argus have a different sound that feels familiar. Their sound is best described as atmospheric indie; steeped in the worlds of post-rock and shoegaze and influenced by the nostalgic and the new. And on Reroot, the band’s new album for 2024, Eyes to Argus sound more decisive and vibrant than ever.

Written and recorded in a period when the members of Eyes to Argus were approaching or traversing through their thirties, Reroot is about the trajectory of entering a new decade and getting used to the way it feels. It’s about moving into the next phase of your life with newfound energy and drive, all the while grappling with inevitable fatigue and burnout along the way.

Reroot is the band’s third full-length album and the second to be released under Post. Recordings (Indianapolis, US). In 2021, the band released in habit, an album about how people experience the same spaces differently, which featured song artworks from six visual artists and a campaign with YMCA Malta. In 2023, Eyes to Argus released the remix album habit_at, featuring seven all-new collaborators who put their spin on the sounds and stories of in habit.

Previous releases by Eyes to Argus include their debut album VEER (2017) and the standalone single Microcosm (2019).

Eyes to Argus are:
Samwel Mallia – Guitar, vocals
Ben Mifsud Joslin – Bass guitar, vocals
Robert Farrugia – Synthesizers, piano
